Biography

PRESENTATION - RESEARCH FOCUS

My research program focuses on the mechanisms that produce educational inequalities. To investigate these dynamics, I examine how educational institutions operate in practice, developing a sociological perspective on the processes of knowledge transmission. My work particularly explores the evolution of the teaching profession, instructional practices and their effects on student learning, as well as the social and political dimensions of curriculum content. I am currently studying the effects of teaching practices in first grade, in both reading and mathematics, on student achievement.

Ongoing Research Projects:

  • Research Project "Social Inequalities in Early School Learning (ISPA)". Conducted in collaboration with ENS, the AMPIRIC project of Aix Marseille University, and DEPP (2025–2030).
